Our Bathurst Honey co. Story

Bathurst Honey Co. is a family-owned and run beekeeping business based in Bathurst, NSW.

At the heart of it all are Andy, Katie and millions of very hardworking bees.

Andy is the beekeeper, spending much of his time on the road caring for our hives, following seasonal honey flows and providing essential pollination services to Australian growers. 

Katie looks after everything that happens once the honey comes home—from bottling and handcrafting our beeswax products to markets, stockists, orders and the people who support our business.

Our bees travel throughout New South Wales and beyond, following the flowering seasons and producing honey that reflects the landscape they have been working. That means the colour, flavour and texture of our honey naturally change from season to season, producing single varietal honey — and we believe that is exactly how real honey should be.

We produce pure, raw Australian honey from our own apiaries, along with creamed and infused honeys, hand-poured beeswax candles, lip balms, lotion bars and other products created using the beautiful beeswax our hives provide. Everything is made or prepared by us in small batches, with care, honesty and a genuine connection to where it came from.

For us, Bathurst Honey Co. is about more than selling honey. It is about caring for our bees, supporting Australian agriculture, creating quality products and sharing a small part of our beekeeping life with every customer.
